8 Best Makeup Website to Shop in Mauritius (Online Guide)

If you’re lazy like me or generally prefer browsing hours on the internet than have to face human interaction in a shop, then this article will be helpful to you. I have narrowed down a list of awesome websites to shop on for a beauty lover.

1. Lookfantastic

Lookfantastic is probably my favourite beauty website to shop on. It is Europe’s number one online premium beauty retailer that ships worldwide. You will find wide array of high end and drugstore beauty brands that are not physically available in Mauritius such as NYX, Benefit, Morphe or The ordinary. They also have a monthly subscription box #LfBeautyBox which I love! It’s an amazing way to discover new luxury brands without breaking the bank.

The Standard Delivery (without tracking) is completely free to Mauritius! While the Tracked Delivery is GBP 14.99. If you’re broke like me and can only afford the peasant delivery, from my experience my order has always arrived. The time frame varies, but I am pretty sure that the Mauritius Post also takes a lot of time to process my order when it reach here. The average time I would say is around 4 weeks, if you’re lucky it might take less. But rest assured even if you’re order doesn’t arrive you can email them about it and they will issue a refund or ship back your item.

Yesstyle is the Go-to website if you are looking Asian beauty products as well as fashion and lifestyle. You will find popular Korean Beauty Brands like Etude House, Skin Food, Innisfree, The Face Shop and many more. Korean Products have the cutest packaging which can be hard to resist sometimes. If you’ve heard of the korean skincare regime, you know that they don’t play. Their skin care game is on another level.
You can benefit from Free Standard Shipping (No Tracking Code) with any purchase over US$35 or pay US$4.99 for any orders below US$35. Standard Shipping takes around 30 working days to arrive to Mauritius. If you want Express shipping (With Tracking), it starts at US$42 and takes around 3-5 working days.

3. Feelunique

Feelunique is another European beauty retailer that distributes popular high end and drugstore brands such as Huda Beauty, Anatasia Beverly Hills, Charlotte Tillbury. I have not yet purchased on FeelUnique but to benefit from Free Tracked Shipping a Minimum spend of GBP 75 is required. All orders below that will cost GBP 9.95. I would recommend combining your orders with your friends to benefit from Free Shipping.

Audere Beaute is an authorised beauty retailer based in Mauritius, whereby they source their products directly from brands and authorised distributors. They have a consistent inventory meaning you will not have to wait a long time to receive your order. If the product is not in stock it will be clearly mentionned on the website. They have free courier shipping and deliver directly to your door! For now they stock the following brands:

6. Revolution Beauty

Revolution Beauty is a cosmetic group that has it’s different makeup and skincare brands sold at a really affordable price for the quality. They are known to recreate dupes or look-a-like products of other popular high end brands. So if you are on a budget, you might want to check out Revolution beauty.

The Standard Tracked Delivery through FedEx is US$9.99 and it takes around 3 weeks to get your order. The Express Delivery through DHL is US$11.99 and takes around 1 week apparently. I obviously has only tried the cheapest shipping.

7. Colourpop Cosmetics

Colourpop Cosmetics is definitely one of my favourite makeup brands in terms of quality and affordability while also coming up with new product launches all the time. Their eyeshadow palettes and blotted lips are my absolute must have! You can also find their sister skincare brand Fourth Ray Beauty and SOL Body on their website.

Colourpop offers Free International shipping for all orders over USD$50 and orders under that amount is a flat rate of USD$9.99. It takes around 4 weeks to receive your order.

8. Tarte Cosmetics

Tarte is a high end makeup brand that believes in high performance product while using natural ingredients. Their products are always formulated without Parabens, Mineral Oil, Phtalates, Triclosa , Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Gluten. Tarte Cosmetics provides 2 shipping options to Mauritius:

DHL Parcel Standard which takes an estimated 14-22 days cost around Rs 653 if you buy under Rs 2900. If you buy over Rs 2900, the Standard Shipping is free.

DHL Express shipping which takes 3-5 days to ship. The cost will be shown at checkout and it depends on several factors such as content and number of items in your order, weight and location being shipped. To Mauritius it will cost around Rs 1000 shipping for 1 item and increases if you add more items. You will be provided with a tracking number.
